Debit Payment
Cash isn’t always the most convenient payment option, but because of certain challenges the California Cannabis Industry faces, not all credit and debit card processors will accept transactions from cannabis retailers like ASHE.

Luckily, ASHE is partnered with a payment client that allows you to use your debit card to make purchases without pulling out cash.
Here’s how it works:

• You pay a $3 service fee to use your debit card

• Purchases are digitally rounded up to the nearest $5 increment, which is returned to you as change (if applicable) less the $3 service fee.

Method 1
For a quick estimate of your total, you can use ASHE’s online menu for the location you intend to shop at. Don’t worry, even if you don’t want to buy online and use Express Pickup, you can still take advantage of this option!

Here’s how:

• Select the menu of the location you intend to make a purchase at. This is very important for the accuracy of your order, because different cities may have different tax rates.

• Add the item or item(s) you are interested in to your cart

• When you are done shopping, click the cart icon to view a breakdown of your subtotal, taxes, and estimated final order total.
  Don’t worry, you do not need to enter any payment info or complete the checkout process to see these totals!
  
  
  

• Note: You must be logged into a Weedmaps account to apply promo codes to your order.
  If you are unsure if your ASHE account is eligible for a particular promotion, please call us, we will be happy to check for you!
  FTP and similar one-time-use promos are unable to be processed multiple times for the same customer ID number.

Method 2
Cannabis is subject to several taxes at a state and municipal level. Here’s a rough breakdown to help you estimate your final payment totals.

• All purchases, recreational and medical are subject to a 15% State Excise Tax, as of 1/1/2024.

• Each city is entitled to set and charge a Cannabis Business Tax. Here are the CBT rates for ASHE Society regions, as of 1/1/2024:
  Pomona: 6%
  
  Santa Ana: 7%
  
  San Bernardino: 6%
  
  

• All recreational purchases are subject to California State Sales Tax, which varies between 8%-10% based on store location.
  Here are the CSST rates for ASHE Society regions, as of 1/1/2024:

  Pomona: 10.25%
  
  Santa Ana: 9.25%
  
  San Bernardino: 8.75%

Medical cannabis purchases are exempt from State Sales Tax. (They are still subject to State Excise Tax, and may be subject to Cannabis Business Tax depending on the region in which purchases are made).
